Ethiopian Cities Association (ECA) organizes an Experience Exchange Workshop on Urban Finance, Pedestrian Walkway and Community Participation in Local Development at Jigjiga city.
Honorable guest of the workshop Eng. Ziyad, Mayor of Jigjiga, said that Jigjiga city is now flourishing with different infrastructure and hosting this kind of workshop is the result of the joint commitment of the resident of Jigjiga city and the city administration.
Ato Andualem Tenaw, Director General of ECA, addresses that such kind of workshop, is being prepared for experience exchange and study tours as well as creating an opportunities for the participation of its member city mayors to get training on different urban issues outside the country.
In this a two days an Experience Exchange Workshop around 77 cities’ mayors are participated and visited the development works of Togochale city, which is found on the border areas with Somaliland around 70 km away from Jigjiga city.
