(September 06, 2024, Addis Ababa) The Executive Board of the Ethiopian Cities Association (ECA) conducted an evaluation regarding the Association’s 2016 E.C fiscal year performance report and 2017 E.C plan.

According to the evaluation of the Executive Board, the Association’s 2017 fiscal year plan was presented and discussed and the annual budget was unanimously approved to be Birr 55,479,322.49.

In addition, the Executive Board announced that the services provided by ECA to the member cities are increasing from year to year and are appropriate for the times. Along with this, the management board discussed and passed a decision on the issues that required a decision proposed by the Association.

Meanwhile, the first African Cities Forum, which has been held in Adwa Victory Commemoration for 3 days under the theme of ‘Sustainable Urbanization for Africa’s Development’ has come to an end today.
