Ethiopian Cities Association (ECA) proudly announces that it became a member of the United Cities and Local Governments for Africa (UCLG Africa), which is the umbrella organization and the united voice and representative of local governments in Africa. Through its members UCLG Africa represents more than 350 million African citizens.
UCLG Africa has developed a series of programs and interventions including the mobilization of strategies, methods and tools to support its members under its three pillars:
- Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Development;
- Advocacy and Mobilization;
- Corporate Learning and Knowledge Management,
Thus, through these programs, Ethiopian Cities Association (ECA) will have an opportunity to support the development of its members to better serve their communities by improving the living conditions and driving development from grassroots.
